Riley needs to focus on the mission but struggles while being away from her home. She hasn't left her hometown since she moved back to help care for her father who had developed dementia. His situation was not improving and the fear of not being near him if he were to die was stuck in her mind. She was off at college when her mom died and she never forgave herself for not ignoring suggestions and coming home when her mom fell ill.
